
There are people around us who have overcome the despair of cancer, especially those with advanced stage 4 cancer that has spread so severely that surgery is not an option and the cancer has become inoperable. This is often a case where even hospitals give up.
Overcoming stage 4 colon cancer with Breating Meditation
Lee Jung-soon was one such person. Diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2002, the cancer had spread to her ovaries, lymph nodes, and blood vessels.
Every day, she meditated with a diagram of the digestive system in front of her. She sent warm thoughts to her colon and other organs, imagining them returning to normal. She underwent both physical surgery and meditation therapy. She had part of her colon and lymph nodes removed, and endured 20 rounds of chemotherapy and 28 radiation treatments.

Through her battle with cancer, her entire life changed. She began walking over 10,000 steps a day, eating brown rice and nuts, avoiding meat and focusing on vegetables and fruits, and keeping her living environment clean.
Through her daily practice of breathing and meditation while fighting cancer, she overcame all her illnesses and now works at her accounting firm during the day. In the evenings, she participates in civic groups like Yeominhoe and Mineunhyeop. She is also actively involved in a hospice support group for newly diagnosed cancer patients.
She says, ‘I don’t know how much time I have left, but through my illness, I realized once again the preciousness of the people around me. I learned a lot from them about living a meaningful life for society and for themselves.’”
MBSR Program with meditation by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn
“Jon Kabat-Zinn is a pioneer in mindfulness research who founded the Stress Reduction Clinic and developed the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. MBSR is a program that uses breathing, meditation, and yoga to focus on the present moment and manage stress.

MBSR has been used as an adjunct therapy for various diseases and has been shown to improve the quality of life for cancer patients in particular. MBSR has been shown to have positive effects on reducing side effects related to cancer treatment, reducing pain, alleviating depression and anxiety, and increasing life satisfaction.
Mindfulness is a meditation practice that focuses on the ‘here and now.’ It has been shown to be effective for people who are constantly under extreme stress and anxiety, such as cancer patients. Patients who find peace of mind through meditation have shown improvements in their health and lower recurrence rates. This is seen as a way to overcome the limitations of modern Western medicine, which often discharges patients after surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy with the words, ‘There’s nothing more we can do.
Practice Breating Meditation together
Meditation is closely linked to the law of attraction. It’s no coincidence that many successful people worldwide, including Steve Jobs, Hugh Jackman, Clint Eastwood, Oprah Winfrey, Kobe Bryant, Miranda Kerr, Bill Ford, Paul McCartney, Angelina Jolie, Tina Turner, Richard Gere, and Madonna, have incorporated meditation into their daily lives.
Your subconscious mind is your master. It possesses immense energy, like the power of the universe. The fact that a single bean can grow into a vine over 10 meters long is due to the power of the subconscious mind within that bean.
Just as a watchmaker can fix a watch, your subconscious mind, the creator of you, can heal your suffering. This is the law of the universe. You must have the will and effort to heal and focus on breathing and meditation.
Affirmations that bring hope must be repeated with belief to bring great change to your life. Let go of all doubt. Close your eyes gently and focus on your breath. Become one with your subconscious mind and repeat softly and calmly.
