The Choice of Existence: The One Question That Will Change Your Life Completely

“Hamlet’s famous soliloquy, ‘To be, or not to be, that is the question,’ is a translation of the English original. While this line captures Hamlet’s deep agony and philosophical questioning, some of its meaning is distorted in the translation process. A more faithful translation that emphasizes Hamlet’s philosophical dilemma is: ‘To exist, or not to exist, that is the question.’

Shakespeare understood the importance of existence. Although Hamlet faced extreme suffering, such as a corrupt kingdom, his mother’s betrayal, and his father’s death, he placed the choice of whether to exist with that suffering or not to exist with that suffering at a crossroads in life. Herein lies an incredible discovery about life.

Today’s day unfolds as we choose. We can spend today joyful and happy, or we can spend today dreaming of joy and happiness despite it being an ordinary day. We can also spend it in sorrow, questioning why we must live, amidst extreme suffering. These states of existence are our choices.

The power of these states of existence is so potent that they attract everything. This is explained as the ‘Law of Attraction’ in the book ‘The Secret.’ To choose my existence, I engage in vivid visualization training. Because the brain struggles to distinguish between imagination and reality, the moment I choose to be a happy and wealthy version of myself and embody those feelings, only joyful and abundant days unfold, attracting wealth and happiness.

We all dream of happiness, but the very setting of dreaming is flawed. To dream, the current state must be lacking, hence happiness is always insufficient. This is true even for the wealthy. We dream of becoming rich. Thus, we never become rich; we only remain in a state of dreaming of wealth. The secret of choosing existence lies in being content with what I have today, joyfully and happily considering myself wealthy, which attracts greater wealth.

This recognition of existence is never obtained easily. It requires practice and training. It is a method already achieved by many and attainable by anyone. This change in my recognition of existence draws me and the world into my state of existence, allowing for growth into a happy existence. I bless and bless you again for achieving this miraculous change.
